The banners can be whatever size works for the picture and what you're planning to put on it, just make sure to give me the measurements so I can make the section the right size. : )
Our current banner is 709x318 and I think it looks fiiine. If it looks good on everyone else's screens then we should probably stay in that area. Like 690-730x300-340?
The actual forum (the orange part) is 1036px wide. So...don't go over that. XD

...Jeez, I hope I have access to this kind of HTML. For all I know, I'm only going to be able to change colors and background images and stuff D:

I was just telling Meepy the sizes that would work for the banner. XD Width should be between 690 and 730px, and height should be between 300 and 340px.
Of course that is just me being picky. And it'll take us a while to figure out what looks good.
But tell me dear children, does the banner at the top that says Authorz Alianz orwhatevs look okay on your computer screens? It's not off-center or making your screens scroll sideways or anything?

If I'm going to do forum skins so that people can pick which ones they want (if that's allowed here, ack) would you do a separate banner for each?
