Yeah, I got my hands on Devil Survivor now.
The battle system is kinda tedious takes a long time. orz It also reminds me that I need to finish Disgaea omg lol.
How many endings are there? The game seems like it takes pretty long tbh.

Its ok, after the first playthrough, you can get points based off of how many awards you get, and you can opt to keep your macca and buy back demons or carry over demons on your next playthrough so its not as tedious. My first runthrough of the game (Amane's Route + 3DS 8th day) took a little over 55 hours. But after that, each runthrough took less than ten. Im on my 4th runthrough.
If you think the battles are kinda hard, I would NOT take the Amane route or the Naoya route first, cuz those are the hardest (5 straight boss battles + final boss in one day). If you're up for the challenge, be my guest. It's not too too bad (I spammed almighty attacks on every boss, lol).
OMG Disgaea. I never played it myself, but I have a friend who does, so I know about it. You cannot pay me enough to sit through 300+ hours of grinding through 9999 levels. Even if theres a shota with the shota shorts involved.

At the end of the 6th day, you'll get emails from the people whose routes you've unlocked.
And then on the 7th day, you'll be able to chose who you want to go with.

Wait, Wendigo on Day 1? You're supposed to kill that with Amane (the priestess) And then on day 2 or something, it comes back to kill you. Yeah, the boss battles are hard in this game, especially the first time around. Wait till you get to the bosses that can attack from anywhere on the board.

After the first playthrough, you can spend title points to carry over macca or demons. I think on the first time you're only able to carry over 1 demon, so save up on the macca so that you can buy back good demons from the demon compendium on later playthroughs.

I know that anything late 2009+ DS games don't work on my ROM, though. I remember downloading Prof. Layton + Unwound Future but it didn't work, so I just bought the game. But I've never tried a PC emulator before though.

Yeah, I use a PC emulator, so maybe that's why. I've been meaning to get myself an R4 and an acecard, but it's never happened...

If you HAVE a PSP, then all you need to do is get a memory stick and download the ROM. If you don't, I think your out of luck. There SHOULD be a PSP emulator out there (don't quote me on it), but it's probably gonna be too much for a normal PC to handle, and will be excruciatingly slow and fragmently (like 1~30 fps slow)

Day 2, lol. Watch out for Day 3. MAKE SURE that you're maic character has lots of heals (bring a megami or something). SPOILER* he's the only one who can damage the Day 3 boss. Oh, and make sure he has a decent Strength stat for it too.

Uh... go buy more demons and fuse them in. You can do a lot of saving on day 7 right before the final boss as you grind.

I put Shin Tensei because I thought the game was called Shin Tensei Megami, but it turns out it's Shin Megami Tensei so. . . oh well. And then I lol'd when I found out Tensei was Naoya's last name.

Oh, Second Reproduction is about some princess chick. It takes place in a universe where demons and humans coexist, and they're at war. The girl is sent to assassinate the demon lord of one of the demon countries (I'm actually not sure if there's multiple or not) and her number one knight tags along. They end up staying for a while and learn that maybe demons aren't as evil as they thought they were (which is a pretty predictable development).
Romance ensues.



On an unrelated note, I hate bugs.
There was a bug in the washroom yesterday and I told my mom to kill it. She was just like, "lol it's just a bug from the garden." And I'm like, "Why's it in the house?! :K"
Then I told her about a recent time when I finished showering and noticed a huge bug in the shower and she was all, "Why're flipping out about that?"

I mean. . . like, I'm not crazy for being disturbed by that, right? A bug in your shower? While you were showering? blagehgaskldas.

Easy, set your key bindings to something that can be reached with one hand and become ambidexterous for a white. Use the mouse with one hand, and hit the keys with another. Like a boss~~

A megami (lit. goddess) is a race of demons. They had a racial skill called affection that heals hp and stats of anyone who's in your walking distance. I would have at least 1 or 2 on the team at all times. Naoya's last name is whatever you choose as the last name for the main character. Ie. my character's name is Hiroto Koutei, so Naoya's last name is Koutei too.

If the demons still keep dying, crack the skill Recarm and/or Samarecarm (found much later in the game). Those are the only revive active spells in the game. That, and I would advise to keep at least 2 heals per team, that way you can heal before AND after your turn. It's especially useful for later boss fights, when the bosses that literally hit across the board.

Hm... it sounds interesting. Maybe I'll look into it.

I remember that happened to me once. I was in the shower at like 6 am without my contacts on. I saw something at the bottom of the shower, so I just nudged it with my foot towards the drain without a second thought (remember, I was both blind and tired). And then it started crawing.

Yeah, I pretty much flipped out. My parents were just like, "What's wrong with you? It's just a bug, big deal." My reply was "................."

Second Reproduction is okay. I really liked the beginning, but then when I got onto one of the actual routes. . . well, I didn't like the guy very much so that might be why I'm disappointed now. idk, I haven't gotten the ending yet so it may be better. There was also some kinda plot twist in the middle so I can't wait for the explanation to it.

Yeah, bugs are gross. Like, I'm not scared of 'em. . . but they give me the bajibbies sometimes.

Yeah... I played TWEWY on my emulator... it was hell. My left hand kept cramping up while I tried to hit the keys and control the 'partner' characters...ugh...

Later on in the game, you will get a spell called Prayer. Its basically Mediarahan and Amrita combined into one spell. What I do is have at least 2 Prayers on the team. But it's pretty mp expensive, so make sure you have a way of regaining mp.

I started playing Second Reproduction. It's decent. I got through the Lazette Bad Ending (I forgot to give the king of Roland his... special drink...) and the Gardis Good Ending (it was cute, I guess). I hear the the Gardis Bad Ending is a sobstory, so I might decide to do it next. That, or I'll go and do Lazette's Good Ending because I think I like him a litte bit better than Gardis (Lazette reminds me of Soushi Miketsukami from Inu x Boku SS, that's probably the only reason why. Also because I find his routes to be funnier). I don't know if I wanna deal with Jin's routes, though. But I wanna get all of the gallery pics because my OCD tells me tooo >w<

Wowwww, you got through it fast. I've only gotten Gardis' Good and Bad end so far. His bad end isn't too much of a bawww story imo though. But I didn't really like him.

I don't want to judge the entire game until I finish all of the routes, though, since I'm liking Lezette's route like 100x more than Gardis' so far.

If it makes you feel any better, Devil Survivor 2 is wayyyyy more complicated than Devil Survivor 1. Mediarahan heals all of your party members for full.

Whie we're on the topic, I found this interesting theory online about how the Helaris that comes out in the theatre play that you have to do is the same Helaris as Chris' mother. Apparently, is you play the theatre minigame long enough, you find out that the demon (Valde?) decides to stop seeing her because he used up his magic and was about to die or something, and he lied to her and told her that he was lying about loving her and stuff like that (*cough Gardis *cough). And this is apparently why Helaris hates the demon race (as in accordance to Gardis' good ending).
I always thought that the Helaris in the play was Chris' ancestor or something... My reasoning being that I THINK that when she was first intruduced, Helaris (Chris' mother) had a roman numeral after a name (like the 8th or something)

I agree with you on the funny lol. Especially the scene where Gardis is giving Lezette sex tips LOL.
But I like Lezette's route because. . . I guess I just liked his character more. His route seemed more character-focused, while Gardis' was world-focused. I mean, that stuff we learn about Chris in Lezette's route? I was just kinda like, ". . . yo, THIS IS IMPORTANT STUFF." And it developed Lezette's relationship with Gardis more, too.
Plus, the thing I really didn't like about Gardis' route was that his relationship with Chris just. . . suddenly happened. I liked how it was a lot slower in Lezette's route, but it also made me go, "JUST TELL THEM YOUR FEELINGS ALREADY." "WHY AREN'T YOU MARRIED YET." stuffs like that lol.

Hmm, day 2, huh. Try to be at least level 25 before 1800 on day 3, trust me, you want to be at least that level. And make sure your mc has at least a semidecent str stat.
