So here's a thread for story development, plot bunnies, story whoring (which is pretty much the same as pimping, I suppose, just so I don't have to explain it again), die-for-our-ship battles (this is totally related to writing), and whatever else your little heart desires. As long as it's totally related to writing. Totally.

I WISH I HAD A WRITING CLASS.
All we do in English is read books and answer questions about them.
We started school in September and we're on our fourth book already. My teacher is a slave driver. D:

Make it so sickening-sweet fluffy that my blood sugar spikes and then crashes and I have to go to the hospital and then I develop diabetes. o: That's the only way to do it.

Not gonna lie. Aku no fanfics are pretty overdone. It'll be hard to come up with something that someone else hasn't already gone for.
Try looking at it from the perspective of a different character? Or like Meepy said, extra detail. Like how/why the twins were separated, and how Len knows they're twins but Rin doesn't. Who raised him to know about it, and why wasn't Rin raised to know about it?
Go into the details of Len's struggles with his loyalty to his sister versus his love for Miku?
Or maybe how Rin felt when he gave her his clothes and took her place?
Or how she underwent the change of heart between the first and third songs? Was it Len's self-sacrifice, or was there more to it?

At least you didn't have my English 11 teacher. OTL Seriously, we sat through class in complete silence and didn't do anything. And when she gave us an assignment, she never explains it well, and never actually reads it. She also makes us draw and colour and make our pieces pretty.
I've also heard from a friend that she saw the teacher play Neopets.
The teacher also got egged by someone who we all now consider our hero.
He got expelled.

For my culminating paper for English 11 (May '10, approx), the assignment was to write a parable that displayed a character using forward thinking. 2,000-4,000 words.
Mine was 10,000 words and about a serial killer and a deaf-mute. And I'd been plotting it since like summer '09.
And now I've realized that I suck at srs stories. I can only write fluff. D:
But that teacher totally loved me. I went 6,000 words over the limit and she didn't dock me at alll.
My English 12 teacher though... She's the slave driver. And she decided on the first day that she hated me. I'm fairly sure I hadn't even opened my mouth yet.
