I love that ! thing. I've only ever seen it in Vocaloid. It fascinates me. It's been fascinating me for about a year and a half now. I see all these:

The first time I saw it, I was so confused. I was like "WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT EXCLAMATION POINT. WHY DONCHA JUST MAKE A SPACE D:"

I saw the exclamation point in an older fandom of mine although I don't remember what it was and it took me FOREVAR to figure out what the hell it was for.
