Use this video: But make sure not to overexaggerate your high range! People tend to do that I'm not sure if falsetto counts, but I didn't count it myself ~ You could warm up before this /o/ I didn't do that either pfft 8'D/ I'm hoping I can hit a bit more than what I got lolol. DO NOT FOLLOW THE VOCAL RANGE GUIDE AT THE END. It's faulty, apparently. Said I was an alto/mezzo-soprano though, which is semi-accurate o.o/ Here's Wikipedia's guide to vocal ranges: Soprano: C4 ¨C C6 Mezzo-soprano: A3 ¨C A5 Contralto: F3 ¨C F5 Countertenor: D3 - D5 Tenor: C3 ¨C C5 Baritone: F2 ¨C F4 Bass: E2 ¨C E4 Here's Yale's: soprano: C4 to A5 mezzo-soprano: A3 to F#5 alto: G3 to E5 (and contralto as F3-D5) tenor: roughly C3 to A4 baritone: A2 to F4 bass: F2 to E4 Here's some guy named Aaron Lim's: Soprano: A3 - G6 Mezzo Soprano: G3 - C6 Contralto: E3 - G5 Countertenor: G3 - F5 Tenor: C3 - C5 Baritone: A flat 2 - A flat 4 Bass: F2 - E4 (more info) Sop. to Contralto: www.your-personal-singing-guide.com/vocal-range.htmlContrtenor to Bass: www.your-personal-singing-guide.com/vocal-range-1.html... Yah My more comfortable range is around E3/D3 - F5/G5-ish So I'm a contralto/countertenor type voice I'M CURIOUS WHAT Y'ALL ARE POST AND GET SHOTAGAINS.

I would do this if I hadn't lost my voice in Florida. I couldn't sing the top of Happy Birthday today. =w=dd So I'll come back in a few days, trololololol. I sing first soprano in chorale, though.

G3-D6, with no talking today, much less singing warmups. And I'm still not fully recovered from all the screaming I did in Florida. On a good day, I might be able to go all the way to the G6 but it'd have to be a REALLY good day trolololol. So I max out at about 2.5 octaves.
You might wanna make sure you're actually going as low as you think you are - really listen to whether you're still in tune - although this is coming from the only one who can't sing Fire Flower, so IDEK. But the first time I went through it I thought I was all the way down to D3, when really I was sticking at G3.
The Yale one for soprano seems awfully low, just judging by the fact that that A5 is still relatively comfortable for me. And I sing with a sop whose top note is G6 (yes, that is ridiculous) so...
And as far as falsetto...I think it counts a little more for girls than for guys, because I know guys who can falsetto Ave Maria, which is definitely not part of their natural range. But keep in mind that falsetto is different from head voice. I'm actually not sure what falsetto means for girls, OTL.
sorry for acting like i know a lot about this!

On normal days (with warming up) my range is usually C3 - C6. Then on nicer days where I have bigger ranges and never record for some reason, it's A2 - E6.
I sound like a kettle doing E6. Hurhur.
So that means I'm a tenor. Though I go lower on better ranged days, but I'll just go with this =w=

I like how we all cover multiple voice types lol. I don't fully understand this though because tenor-bass are men's types, and contralto-soprano are women's types. I think maybe you count by how high you can go rather than how low, though, because most women can get down to those threes if they really chest-voice it. MAN IRINI I'VE NEVER HEARD THOSE HIGH NOTES OUTTA YOU, SING SOMETHING HIGH

@sake: It's coming, :'D But I already tried a higher-ish voice in letter song, so I think that's the first of my tries. Gonna be singing more high pitched songs from now on~ :'D

Meltdown isn't bad if you can keep the high notes as far to the top of your throat as possible. //has been listening to director's instructions and finds they actually help
That was relevant because...I was in English class. I wasn't just being random e_e

Everything says that photobucket died ;_; What happened? D:
Double Lariat and Aquarium of the Sky are pretty much my range xD; I think...
EDIT: ahh, if it's by high notes I'm a countertenor man OTL I suck at high notes. if it's by low notes I'm a contralto. Me and my tiny range <3 *pets it*

They were "fixing an issue" that affected "a small percentage of users." Somebody probably spilled coffee on a keyboard or something, idek. But it's all better now. Oh yeah, I definitely hate the scream too. That's why I haven't dubbed it yet =w=dd I can hit the note too but it sounds stupid. I don't have the power for that stuff. I do best with things like, uh, Can't I Even Dream, or Last Night Good Night - anything high has to be really melancholic and wailing or I can't get enough power behind it. I can belt in the bottom of my range though. I'mtryingtoteachmyselftobelthighernotessoIcansingbadasssongs.
